One of the larget conferences of the information processing society in Japan, SWoPP2010 (Summer United Workshops on Parallel, Distributed and Cooperative Processing, 2010) was held in Kanazawa, from August 3rd to 5th.

We gave two presentations of our ongoing work. Takahiro Hirofuchi talked about a basic idea of an advanced virtual machine packing system, which were based on our quick migration technology. Hidemoto Nakada gave preliminary results of experiments comparing packing algorithms.
